AhlulBayt News Agency: Yemen’s Hajj and Umrah Sector in Sanaa strongly criticized the Saudi regime for obstructing Yemeni pilgrims from traveling via Sana’a International Airport. Despite extensive efforts and early coordination, the Saudi decision to restrict travel has been described as a major impediment to the fulfillment of religious obligations.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the sector confirmed that it has thoroughly managed all procedural aspects for Yemeni pilgrims and facilitated the necessary services to ensure their safe and dignified journey to the Sacred House of Allah. However, it highlighted the immense challenges faced by pilgrims forced to travel through Aden airport or Al-Wadea Land Crossing, citing security chaos, logistical hardships, and severe overcrowding at these routes.
The sector held the Saudi regime directly responsible for these difficulties, urging immediate cooperation to enable travel via Sana’a International Airport and stressing the importance of removing unjust obstacles that hinder pilgrims from fulfilling their religious duties.
